Storyline

Drawing inspiration from the acclaimed Secret Invasion comic saga, this super hero brawler pits Earth's mightiest defenders against an insidious threat from the stars. As narrated by the cosmic observer Uatu the Watcher, a shape-shifting alien race called the Skrulls launches a covert war on humanity. Rather than attacking openly, they infiltrate the world by replacing its greatest heroes with perfect doppelgangers, impostors who not only mirror their targets' appearances but wield their exact powers. With trust shattered and no way to tell friend from foe, the remaining true heroes of the Marvel Universe must band together to expose the impersonators. Iconic champions like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, and Wolverine clash with their Skrull counterparts in a desperate struggle to halt the invasion. At the heart of it all looms an inter-dimensional portal opening above New York City, through which an entire alien armada waits to pour into the world.
