Marvel's Wolverine
Summary
Marvel's Wolverine is a single-player action-adventure game and a standalone entry in the Marvel's Spider-Man series, sharing continuity with those titles while telling its own self-contained story. Players control Logan/Wolverine in close-quarters combat, using his adamantium claws against enemies drawn from the X-Men comic book mythology. It is planned as the first installment in a trilogy of games focused on the X-Men.
Storyline
Logan is a centuries-old mutant whose skeleton is laced with indestructible adamantium, the result of brutal experimentation. Armed with retractable claws, enhanced senses, and a regenerative healing factor, he left the mutant strike force Team X three years ago under circumstances he has tried to put behind him. When mutants begin disappearing at the hands of Bolivar Trask, a billionaire industrialist commanding a cybernetically-enhanced private army known as the Reavers, Logan is drawn back to his former team. To stop Trask and rescue the missing mutants, he must confront the violent past he thought he had escaped.
