Summary

MAQUETTE is a first-person recursive puzzle game that takes you into a world where every building, plant, and object are simultaneously tiny and staggeringly huge.

Storyline

A person relives the arc of a past romance between Michael and Kenzie, moving through the memories of how they met, fell in love, and slowly drifted apart. The world is recursive: at the heart of each place sits a table holding a miniature version of the surroundings, and any object placed on it is mirrored at full scale in the world beyond. Through scattered notes and voiced recollections, the player pieces together the couple's story while using the nesting of large and small to find a way forward.
