Rocket Knight
Summary
Rocket Knight is a classic side-scrolling rocket action series. Our favorite opossum hero returns home after 15 years to find the kingdom of Zephyrus in shambles. Use your wits and Sparkster's trusty rocket pack to dodge and defeat a menacing wolf army threatening the lives of his people. Rocket Knight is a revival of the Sparkster series, which first began with Rocket Knight Adventures. The game is a sequel to the Sega Genesis game Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2, and not a remake of Rocket Knight Adventures.
Storyline
Years ago, the brave opossum warrior Sparkster served the Kingdom of Zephyrus as its legendary Rocket Knight, defending the realm with his trusty sword and jet-powered rocket pack. But once peace returned and a truce was struck with the rival pig empire of Devontidos, the kingdom no longer needed a hero. Set aside and unheeded, Sparkster hung up his gear and retired to a quiet life. Fifteen years later, he lives peacefully on a farm with his wife and son, his days of adventure seemingly behind him. That calm is shattered when he looks up from his fields to see Zephyrus overrun by a savage invading army of mountain wolves. Without hesitation, Sparkster dusts off his Rocket Knight armor and blasts off to defend his homeland once more. Returning to a kingdom that has changed in his absence, he must rocket, slash, and soar through danger to save Zephyrus from ruin.
